1950年代から1970年代にかけて、ニューヨークやシカゴ、そして国内の旅先で撮影された彼女の未発表の作品を含むモノクロ写真やカラー作品などおよそ250点、遺品や思い出の品々、オーディオテープなどの画像なども初公開。近年行われたマイヤーを知る人々へのインタビューを元に、彼女の写真技術や人生にも光を当てた注目の一冊。
